The Start Of My 365 Project!
Here is the very first post of my project 365. Definition: One picture every day for 365 days. So lets get to it....drumroll please.
DAY 1
Weathering The Storm
I haven't managed to get anything posted in a while now. I thought that today was the perfect time to start posting again. I've been pretty busy.
I'm excited to be able to finally get a few more things for my new camera. (Sony Alpha 300) I love my camera...it takes awesome pictures. I had a really successful and fun maternity shoot about a week and a half ago. The pictures turned out beautiful, I'm very proud of them!!! My client is also incredibly happy with the results.
I got a few really amazing shots this past Sun while at a B-B-Q (I'll post some later). As for now, we are all keeping out eyes on Hurricane Dolly. She's slowed down quite a bit and has picked up some strength. As of right now she still has not made landfall but will at some point today. We are far enough north that we really shouldn't see to many effects of Dolly. I believe that we are under a tropical storm watch right now. We are expecting to see some rain and wind. Nothing to major...but we are still staying informed. Just one of the things that you have to deal with when you live on the coast!

It's now 10:46pm, and I am completely exhausted!! I had a fabulous maternity shoot today!! It was amazing!! We shot in the studio for the better part of 2 hours and then went to two different locations. Thank God for beautiful weather. So between the 3 1/2 to 4 hour shoot and 623 pictures I'm worn out! Completely 100% wiped out. I'm excited though, to see how great these pictures come out after a minor amount of editing.
Off to bed now...gotta rest up to snap some great shots from the baseball game tomorrow!

ZOO
I have some new pictures to put up...they are from our recent trip to the little zoo that we have here in town!! I loved this little duck with the blue bill...he was so cute.

A photo isn't just a photo...it can hold so much more. Photographs are art. That being said, art is subjective. You may love some and hate others. I believe that you can learn the technical aspects of using a camera but you can never really teach creativity, artistic view, or creative composition. My name is Tiffany Lea Bateman, I'm 28 from Victoria, Texas. I wear many different hats in my everyday life. I am a stay at home mom to one beautiful little girl named Madison and wife to my high school sweetheart Jeremy. I love my little family with all of my heart.
My love of my family is only rivaled by my passion for photography and art. I simply love photography and all the beauty that it holds.
